Brion Hurley is currently the webmaster for Kicking.com.
Brion walked-on at the University of Iowa in 1992, and received a scholarship after the 1993 season. From 1993-1996, he was a kickoff specialist, kicker and punter at various times at Iowa. He specialized in long-range FGs (was 6-9 on 50+ yard kicks, with a long of 54). He was named 1995 Sun Bowl Special Teams MVP for going 3-3 on FGs (47, 49, 50).
He signed with the NY Giants as a kicker in 1997, and a punter in 1999. He played 6 games for the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League in 1998, and made a 26-yard game-winning FG against the San Jose Sabercats. He also played two seasons for the Arena Football 2 League Champion Quad City Steamwheelers in both 2000 and 2001.
